MikroTik Career structure is organised as outlined in the following picture:

First level certification MTCNA gives access to any second level certification MTCRE, MTCWE, MTCTCE, MTCUME, MTCSE, MTCSWE, MTCEWE or MTCIPv6E. To achieve MTCINE certification MTCRE is required. Below is a short course description together with links to official MikroTik courses outline.

MTCNA – MikroTik Certified Network Associate

Good for: Anyone who wants to learn about RouterOS. A good starting point for anybody who wants to move first steps in the world of routing, anybody who wants to achieve MikroTik Certified Network Associate certification, anybody who wants to join the MikroTik community.
Main topics: login, use of RouterOS and Routerboard, creation of a simple network, IP addressing, NAT, DHCP server and client, Firewalls, PPP, simple queues, wireless networks.
Required: A good knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol.

MTCRE – MikroTik Certified Routing Engineer

Good for: Anyone who wants to update their knowledge of IP networks, anybody who needs to use the OSPF protocol, who wants to improve their knowledge about tunnels and VLANs. Those that become a MikroTik Certified Routing Engineer, will be able to access the MTCINE certification.
Main topics: static routing, recursive routing, ECMP, point-to-point addressing, VPN, Vlan, QinQ, OSPF – Areas, neighbors, cost, introduction to BGP and MPLS.
Required: Good knowledge of TCP/IP protocol, MTCNA

MTCWE – MikroTik Certified Wireless Engineer

Good for: Anybody who wants to use 802.11a/b/g/n networks, anybody who wants to update about Wi-Fi standards, who wants to improve knowledge about MikroTik proprietary wireless standards, who wants to become a MikroTik Certified Wireless Engineer, anybody that wants to join the MikroTik Wireless community.
Main topics: Installations, Wireless Standard, Wireless Tools, Troubleshooting, Advanced settings, 802.11n protocol, Security, WDS e Mesh, Transparent bridge, Nstreme, Nv2

Good for: Small ISPs, hotspot managers, Campus network administrators, Corporate networks administrators.
